Best Ramadan Bazaars in Klang Valley

Written by Updated ago

It’s that time of the year again. The month of Ramadan has finally descended upon us all and with it, we welcome the comforting knowledge that the usual Ramadan bazaars will be unfolding its colourful umbrellas and presenting oh-so-glorious food to us. Regardless of whether you are fasting or not, everybody loves good-ole-Ramadan bazaars. Everyone gets a chance to be let off work early so working moms who don’t have time to cook for their families can just take away a few meals here, students staying in hostels can buy their favourite rendang and foreigners lucky enough to visit Malaysia this time of the year can have a taste of Malaysian culture in one complete package. We have covered the halal buffets plus the Ramadan buffets previously. And since there are about 2 weeks left of Ramadan, so why don’t you make a to-do list for the must-visit Ramadan bazaars according to this list? But, a word of advice, make your way from 4 to 5pm to these bazaars to avoid disappointment!

Rankings of all participants as visible on our listings are solely voted by you, our beloved readers. With that said, we would encourage you to please vote for your preferred participants in order to ensure their rightful positions ranking-wise on our portal. Thank you!

If you’re brave enough to go through the traffic jam leading up to this bazaar in the middle of the city or if you have been let off work early, then head on to the Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman Ramadan Bazaar. The liveliest and most happening bazaar on this list, everything can be found here, from clothing, food, drinks to even, snacks. The food stalls here in Jalan TAR showcases some of the most popular national dishes such as asam laksa, spring rolls, Hokkien fried noodles as well as other special celebratory foods. There are even makeshift kitchens complete with woks and a portable stove for cooking dishes on the spot. Definitely a must-visit if you’re from outside of Malaysia and looking forward for an all-in-one packaged view of Malaysian culture.
