The name of the restaurant might be more suited for a night club. However, the food served was definitely restaurant quality. Famous for 2 things – their pork and duck dishes (obviously). And with an array of choices to choose from, full/half rack pork ribs, cured ham, sausages, pork knuckle, roasted duck, stuffed duck and many more, it sure is a cholesterol-prone place to be. Hoopla
Ah, BBQ ribs are almost as perennial as burgers, you just can’t say no to them. Hoopla does whip up a mean serving of ribs, ensuring a generous portion at a reasonable price. Its beckoning sight precedes the prodding of your knife and fork to get the drool going, as it builds up to tender, moist meat that comes off with just a gentle tuck of the teeth. Surely, ribs aren’t really ribs without a staple sweet and savoury glaze that glistens the dish; a must try for solo hunters or groups of munchers.

Bricks & Barrels
Bricks and Barrels is the perfect place for a night out after a hard day’s work. The place is packed with people, especially during the live performance time. On occasion, they will bring various local artist to perform regardless of genre as it ranges from talks to comedy and of course, music. The main thing here is alcohol but they do serve quite an amount of food as well. The ribs which we had was well marinated and packed with flavour. Comes with a serving of sauce for those who wants more flavour.More info
