The satay itself is not for order, but it comes with the Malaysian Delight set. A dish that comprises of curry chicken, lamb satay, sunny side up and rice.

Brunei Satay House is a rather traditional looking place that has much to offer. Well, not that much considering that the only reason one would pay this place a visit is for their satay but yes, their satay itself has much to offer. Marinated beautifully with a savoury sauce before being grilled to tender perfection, having merely a dozen sticks would definitely not be enough. Instead, go for double your usual portion!

Kedai Kopi Yuit Cheong
A historical place indeed, Kedai Kopi Yuit Cheong has been in operation ever since 1896, which makes them about 120+ years old. A restaurant that long ought to be good, if not great. And to answer that, yes. Their Satay Jawi has got people from all over town queuing up for over 20 minutes (on a good day). The satay is marinated overnight to ensure that the flavours develop deep within the meat itself before grilling. The result is sticks of delicious satay that is well packed with flavour from both the marination and charcoal used to barbecue them.
