Best Tong Sui in PJ

An obvious frontrunner, K.T.Z. Food in SS 2 is one of the longest surviving eateries in the bustling area and thus, is almost always packed. K.T.Z. in its name actually stands for 'remember to eat' when directly translated. Well, we can't agree more with that when it comes to eating good food here! The place opens till late and many tend to head here for a sweetly satisfying supper. 

A favourite local kopitiam amongst white collared workers within Damansara Uptown, the family restaurant rose to fame for its signature Wan Tan Mee. Other dishes have also also been vocalized and that includes the homemade tong sui! We love the red bean glutinous rice soup which is absolutely lush, sweet, thick and silky smooth. The pak kor yi mai mak chuk is another common favourite and is also a popular order even in the morning! Speaking of which, it's without a doubt that tong sui is the only dessert we can have in the morning without getting an upset tummy later in the day!

Tang Pin Kitchen first gained attention for its Chinese noodles. Ah the eatery attracted more customers, many eventually discovered that other dishes such as nasi dagang, dumplings and chee cheong fun amongst others are also great tasting! These include tong sui, of course, such as their barley fu chuk, ginger soup or black glutinous rice which all yearn to please. Prices are also reasonable. We give Tang Pin Kitchen two thumbs up!

Originated from Hong Kong, Hui Lai Shan claims to serve healthy desserts while not shying away from sweet tooth. We love how you can have your classic tong sui with a twist, such as the 'Luscious Ruby' which has lotus seed and longan in red bean soup and 'Local Fusion' which has yam, sweet potato, taro, sago and tapioca balls in coconut milk. Even better, most of these are served either hot or cold. So even at the end of a scorching hot or sweather weather day, you can cool down or warm up with yummy tong sui!
