Village Park
Village Park is not only famous for their delicious serving of nasi lemak (and their awesome fried chicken). Other fried snacks such as cucur udang are available, too. Their version is prepared in a form puffier than most and serves as a great tea time snack if you're looking for something else just as good to consume there aside from their infamous nasi lemak. Soft, chewy and packed with a good amount of flavour, it's definitely worth giving their cucur udang a go!

Dan's Warung
Dan’s Warung is a popular spot to bring over a bunch of friends to indulge a range of Malaysian delights that are easy on the wallet. One of the main appeal here is the cucur udang, which opens at 5pm and closes at 3am, just right to be part of your evening tea or late night snack. The deep-fried fritter is filled with plump prawns and hold a crunchy outer texture with a spongy core. Its good on its own but a chilli dip just brings it up a notch. You can also dine under the stars with fellow foodies that make up a convivial ambience.

Khadijah Kitchen
Khadijah Kitchen may not serve the best local cuisine around - particularly their range of noodles and nasi lemak, however, their cucur udang on the other hand isn't exactly all that bad. The flavours may not have been the strongest, but it is still addictive enough with the side of chili sauce. In any case, it's a great quick and easy snack on a Monday afternoon.

Mak Inchek Cafe
Savour authentic Malay dishes in an ambience that speaks hipster all over. This may sound a little peculiar but both the food and interior downright scores in their own league. Among the best sellers here are their nasi ayam, asam pedas, nasi lemak and lontong. But if you yearn for a quick nibble, don’t miss their pisang goreng and cucur udang. The prawn fritters are fried to a golden hue and chopped into morsels and served with a spicy peanut sauce. Beverage-wise, you need not refer the huge chalkboard menu once again, the ideal partner for cucur udang is obviously teh tarik, and they do not disappoint.
