Big Nyonya Restaurant
Big Nyonya Restaurant is founded by a local comedian cum celebrity. Besides reaching out to the audience on the world wide web with his cooking skills, he decided to set up his own restaurant to deliver his authentic Peranakan delights instead. An ideal choice for you to satiate your taste buds is with the Chili Fried Fish here. Deep-fried and enveloped with an excellent crisp exterior, the element that makes this dish stands out is the house-made “cili garam sambal” (chilli and salt lightly sauteed into a paste). Spicy and savoury with a hint of lime, this dish makes a perfect palate cleanser in between meals and it leaves a refreshing aftertaste in your mouth on each bite.

Nyonya Makko
What is great about Nyonya Makko is their affordable price on top their tantalizing dishes. The Sambal Fish for one is crusty and crisp with striking and appetizing sambal dressed over it. On weekends, there will usually be long queue even before the restaurant opens!More infoRestoran Nyonya Makko View restaurant

Kuay Tiaw Zabb
Despite being established in late 2015, Kuay Tiaw Zabb has obtained a cluster of regulars who are fond of Thai delicacies. Among all the menu items, if you plan to put your meat consumption at bay, you may opt for the high-in-protein yet tasty fried fish dish that is known as “Mieng Pha Tod”. It is evenly smothered with a crunchy, glorious-looking golden coating on the exterior, and yet juiciness is well-retained. Just get that slice of fish fillet, wrap it with rice noodle and lettuce, dunk it into the Thai seafood sauce and straight into your mouth. For what it’s worth, apart from the generous portion, this starter meal is sure to stimulate your appetite for the next main course.
