Despite being labelled as one of the best breakfast place to dine in KL (Bangsar), Antipodean does serve some humble pancakes as well. Mini in size but big in flavour. Rich, moist and slightly dense mini pancakes with butterscotch sauce and sliced bananas stuffed within them. Undeniably good.
    Tips

Avoid coming in at 10am-11am, packed with people and requires queuing.

    Things to expect

Noisy atmosphere, cramp spaces and sluggish service.

    Best with

Selection of their Big Breakfast – they have a few. Coffee was pretty good as well.

    Price

    RM15.00 to RM20.00

We do not know why in fresh hell does anyone serve pancakes with half a Barbie on top – it looks gruesome, and sad. Having said that, it was not after 10 minutes that we understood the purpose. It acts as a dancing dress-thing. Having said that, the pancake was pretty good indeed. Grilled bananas, peanut butter and almond praline served in between chocolate chip pancakes and topped with chocolate sauce. It was really quite an amazing dish.
    Tips

Bangsar Village 2’s parking is impossible.

    Things to expect

Rather sluggish service but decent food.

    Best with

    Burgers.
