As you ride down the serene Gurney Drive road, you’ll see plenty of hipster bistros and cafes. Slow down and you’ll spot a quaint and bouncy house called Crepe Cottage. Below the blue board, you see a quote – the ultimate pancake and ice cream parlour, and it fits well for the family-run shop. Patrons just keep coming over and over again for their widespread combinations of ice creams, fresh fruits and crepes. Crepes are usually crispier and flat, unlike regular pancakes that have raising agent in it. However, their original pancake is wondrous, you’ll be drooling as soon as it’s served. A Generous spread of strawberries is ladled between stacks of fluffy hot pancakes, crowned with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and showered with rich chocolate syrup. As the ice cream cascades down, grab a huge mouthful for a perfect marriage of sweet, sour and creamy punch.
