Teh is a drink, “Teh Tarik” is an emotion! Literally translated as pulled tea, it’s our nation’s iconic drink, cherished by all walks of life. Moreover, it’s a joy to watch it being prepared at lickety–split, the tea-master whips the tea back and forth between two mugs in seconds and you have a brimming cup of frothy tea which is ethereal and strong. With a doubt, it enhances any dishes, from roti canai to nasi kandar, assorted kuihs to toasted bread, downright justifying being the jewel of our beverage crown. The Pearl of Orient is widely applauded as teh tarik haven; joints below are the pride of the statement.

Transfer Road Roti Canai
Does this place actually need an intro, along Transfer Road, this unassuming joint it swamped with voracious patrons, who even come all the way from Kuala Lumpur and Johor. It seems to be the perfect antidote after a long journey or the ideal boost before taking on the day. Their Roti Canai has a tad of crispness that complements the spongy and chewy bread that is liberally loaded with thick curries. Choices of meat include chicken, beef and mutton. This kind of situation is poised excellently for a cup of foamy Teh Tarik, which is prepared by the beverage stall just a few steps away. Clienteles have the liberty to watch the tea being whipped in the air as quick as a flash which results in a brimming cup of sweet, bubbly and flavourful Teh Tarik.
