Hock Seng Rojak King
If you love your rojak thick and gooey, then the famous Hock Seng Rojak King at Gat Lebuh Cecil should be your ideal pit stop. 101 Rojak (Ho Wei Jeng)
This Esplanade Food Court (or better known as Kompleks Makanan Medan Renong Padang Kota Lama) is famous for its rojak stall. Here, they have a wide range of fresh fruits you can choose from. You name it, there’s pineapple, guava, jambu air (water/rose apple), green mango and many more. Then there’s the shrimp paste, which is deliciously thick and tastes great with a generous sprinkle of crushed peanuts.More info101 Rojak (Ho Wei Jeng) View restaurant

Here’s another famous rojak stall at Bukit Mertajam. Literally translated as “Black White Man Rojak”, the rojak snack comes with the usual motley of cut fruits (pineapple, guava, cucumber and so on) and nicely coated in a homemade shrimp paste. B.M. Rojak
Otherwise known as Bukit Mertajam (hence the word “B.M.”) Pek Lang Rojak, this is the third must-try rojak stall in the Penang state. For the uninitiated, “Pek Lang” literally means “white man” in Hokkien. Like the two famous Bukit Mertajam’s rojak stalls, they also sell their own rojak sauce. Their sauce is exceptionally thick, and tastes even better if you add in “you tiao” (fried Chinese breadstick)!More info101 Rojak (Ho Wei Jeng) View restaurant
