As versatile as it can be, satay is served as an Asian buffet item, an entree or even light bites that makes a perfect munch for supper. Well, to top it off, sliced cucumber, onion wedges and “ketupat” (compressed rice cakes) complements it as a package. Be it a chicken, pork or beef, with thin strips of lean and fat cuts marinated, pierced with a bamboo skewer, grilled to perfection over a charcoal fire right off the street, and dunked into a sweet and spicy sauce, the question is, how many sticks of meaty goodness can you handle? Challenge yourself with some of the best satay places in Ipoh.
