Panna cotta originated from Italy and
directly translated means 'cooked cream'. It is a type of pudding made out of
sweetened dairy thickened with gelatine and moulded. It can be
consumed right out of a cup, but it is more often unmoulded onto a plate and
drizzled with rum, caramel, coffee, vanilla, or other flavourings, coupled with
fresh fruit. A mouthful of panna cotta is delightfully creamy, dissolving in
the mouth and blanketing over the tongue sans lumps or noticeable pieces.

Roost KL
Forgoing unnecessary importation, ‘From Farm to Fork’ is their motto. Roost KL strives to utilise wherever possible local sustainable ingredients sourced with care direct from its farms. Their Fresh Jersey Milk Panna Cotta is a dainty-yet-decadent dessert, combining the goodness of locally produced Jersey milk, coconut and passion fruit. At a glance from afar, the panna cotta has a solid outlook, however, don’t be deceived by its appearance at first glance – their panna cotta is in fact extremely soft, smooth and wobbly!
